De focus ligt op samenwerking met alle veiligheidspartners, de burgers, de private sector en de politie(ondersteunende) organisaties binnen en buiten het land Sint Maarten. Deze regionale en interinsulaire samenwerkingsverbanden zijn van groot belang in verband met de informatie- en kennisoverdracht en dan vooral over wat er speelt binnen de regio.

Om te komen tot een kwalitatief volwaardig en professioneel politiekorps moet er, naast capaciteit en middelen, binnen het KPSM ook gebouwd worden aan optimalisering van samenwerken. Kennisoverdracht, professionalisme, integriteit en transparantie zijn hierbij de uitgangspunten. Het saamhorigheidsgevoel moet doorgevoerd worden in de hele organisatie.
Het KPSM heeft een ambitieuze toekomst wens, betreffende haar prioriteiten, ambities en strategische keuzes.

Context
Als juridisch medewerker ben je een belangrijke schakel tussen alle onderdelen van het Korps en als een van de adviseurs van de Korpschef. Op het gebied van de justitie (politie-OM) voel je je als een vis in het water. Echter, je hebt niet alleen affiniteit met politie, je bent een ervaren adviseur op een breed vlak van bijvoorbeeld klachtenbehandeling tot advisering in complexe strategische vraagstukken in diverse wetgevingsgebieden. Ook draag je zorg voor de vormgeving van het juridisch beleid en het ontwikkelen van standaarden.

Werkzaamheden
De rol van de juridisch medewerkers valt in een breed spectrum van taken, van ontwikkeling tot advies tot uitvoering. We verwachten dat de ontwikkelingen op juridisch gebied op de voet worden gevolgd. De juridisch medewerker ontwikkelt het juridische beleid, kaders en instrumenten en indien nodig standaarden voor de benadering van juridische vraagstukken en draagt zorg voor de uitvoering van door de korpschef vastgestelde beleid en standaarden. Ook verwachten wij dat de juridisch medewerker het management adviseert over algemene juridische aangelegenheden en juridische ondersteuning geeft. Bij het voeren van procedures wordt verwacht dat zaken inhoudelijk worden voorbereid. Eventueel fungeren als secretaris bij belangrijke fora.
Het opstellen van contracten, vergunningen, officiële documenten en de bewaking van door derden opgestelde documenten. Kortom een juridisch adviserend talent die zowel solo als in teamverband goed kan samenwerken.

• HBO-werk en denkniveau, gebaseerd op een relevante HBO-opleiding (BA Rechten).
• Gespecialiseerde theoretische kennis en een ruime ervaring op het gebied van werkzaamheden juridisch adviseur en relevante wet- en regelgeving, kennis van theorieën, methoden en technieken op dit gebied.
• Politie-ervaring is een pre.
• Goede kennis van de gesproken en geschreven Nederlandse (en Engelse taal).

Context
As a paralegal, you are an important link between all the components of the corps and as one of the advisors of the chief constable. In the field of justice (Police) do you feel like a fish in the water. However, not only do you have affinity with police, you’re an experienced adviser on a wide field of complaints to advice, for example, in complex strategic issues in several areas of legislation. Also wear your concern for the design of the legal policy and the development of standards.

Work
The role of the legal staff in a wide range of tasks, from development to advice to implementation. We expect that the developments in the legal field on the followed closely. The Paralegal develops the legal policy frameworks and tools, and, if necessary, the approach to standards of legal issues and shall be responsible for the implementation of laid down by the chief of police policies and standards. We also expect the paralegal management advises on general legal issues and legal support. In the pursuit of procedures, it is expected that substantive issues be prepared. Where Appropriate, act as a secretary in major forums.
The drafting of contracts, permits, official documents, and the monitoring of documents drawn up by third parties. In short a legal advisory talent that both solo as a team can work together.

Former Chief of Police Peter de Witte's stupidity, and his moron colleagues

Former Chief of Police Peter de Witte’s stupidity is legendary, but this is not about that time he let those brothel girls into his home, and allowed them to see him use the combination to his safe. While he was giving a press conference the next day, assuring the St Maarten public that he was doing a great job at cleaning up the criminal mess in St Maarten, the hookers were at his home robbing him. The Chief of Police only admitted publicly that they got into his safe and stole his gun, but according to his angry mistresss they stole over $30.000 dollars and more. But as Chief of police he would have had to explain where he got the tens of thousands that were stolen from his safe, so he conveniently kept that to himself.

Basically, one of the Chief’s mistresses was really mad at him, well because of all the whores, but that’s not what this blog is about.
This blog is about the latest KPSM Press release, where they are encouraging the St Maarten public to come to a seminar where they will teach them how to protect themselves from Cyber crimes.
First of all, my dear St Maarten people, do NOT let criminals teach you anything, unless you intend to get into the occupation of crime.
Secondly, according to top Detectives such as Gerald Van Dam, Peter de Witte’s former #2 They have no knowledge of the internet, social media or how it works.
He told me this as he was interrogating me about cyber crime, at the same time that they were killing my rescued animals to coerce me into a confession into something I had not done.

When I mentioned in the first Peter de Witte blog that he brought along only the dirtiest of the Dutch Police to aid and abet him as he…. ahem… cleaned up crime. Gerald Van Dam was one of them.

It was Chief of Police Peter de Witte AND his #2 Detective Gerard Van Dam who attempted to bribe me with $1000 dollars to stop me from blogging about the activities that they and their department were up to.
If you are wondering, yes I do have the evidence of the attempted bribe. Gerard Van Dam also told me as he interrogated me that if I showed his and Peter de Witte’s SIGNATURES proving the attempted bribe on the documents they asked me to sign, then he would sue me in court, for breaking the conditions of the documents.
I had to laugh in Detective Van Dams face.
Chief Peter de Witte and Detective Gerard Van Dam had me come to the station to discuss compensation for the cameras that Officer Van de Schaap had broken.
When I got there, they took me into an office, and handed me $1000 cash, and documents to sign, stating that it was compensation for the broken equipment.
I lived in the USA for many years, so it was not weird to me that the police department would compensate for damage that they had done, after all, they were liable.
It was AFTER I signed the document, Chief of Police Peter de Witte signed it, and my chief interrogator when they arrested me Gerard Van Dam signed it… THAT is when they tell me that it is NOT legal, and I cannot write or speak about it.
But I was RECORDING THEM, because I don’t trust the police.
Then after they arrested me, and searched for the documents all through my house, dumping cat litter, and everything everywhere, I’m being told that they are going to SUE me, because I disclosed their confidential agreement with me!
Do the Dutch send their DUMBEST to the islands, to get rid of them and to bring up Holland’s per capita IQ?
I DARED Van Dam to sue me over an ILLEGAL contract!.
You CANNOT bind anyone to a contract that is not legal. And as soon as him and the Chief handed me the cash, and told me that I couldn’t talk about it because it was illegal, I just smiled inside….

Peter de Witte’s #2 was at my house with over 15 officers to arrest me. They arrested me, trashed the house. They shot my dog in the yard, according to the neighbors, Officer Felix Richards was the killer. They then killed the cats they could catch…
There are many people who believe….PaasHaas… that they have gotten away with something. I guarantee them, they cannot even grasp how karma will remain with them and theirs for the rest of their lives.

So while the local police were on a rampage, their Dutch superiors were outdoing them at every level.
Finally hoping to stop the embarrassment that we St Maarteners call “Meneer Peter de Witte”, it seems that the Dutch did order him to come back to Holland.
He also got caught up in a legal case in Holland which involved his brother, and lost.
Lol! I showed up in Holland before he did, in fact to my knowledge they are still looking for him. And like I told you, I told them where to find him.
As you can see, I am simply testing out the blogs by reminiscing about St Maarten.

FIRE DESTROYS COMMENTARY BOOTH AT CARIBE LUMBER BALLPARK

One witness claimed that less damage would have been done, had the Fire Dept. been prompt with their response. He added that he had called the Fire dept. but that they had showed up in a truck to take pictures, and that it was 45 minutes before the department even began to work on the blaze, and by then it had spread from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor commentary booth. Completely destroying it, and leaving behind an unstable structure. The blaze was of unknown origin, and is currently being investigated.
The blaze will not hinder the current cricket tournament, as the field is fully operational. MNO Spartanz will take on Winair Conquerors on Saturday from 1:00pm and KFC Twisters do battle against A&A Supply on Sunday from 10:00am.

POLICE CONTINUE TO APPEAL IN 20 YR OLD DEYANIDA CLARISA FANEYTE WHO DIED IN MARCH 18TH DUTCH QUARTER SHOOTING DEATH

PHILIPSBURG--The police are appealing for help from the public to find the persons responsible for the shooting of Deyanida "Clarisa" Faneyte, the 20-year-old woman who died in hospital in Marigot after having been shot in Dutch Quarter on March 18. They are particularly interested in the whereabouts of suspects Alexis Roberts and Brent Berry.

Initially, an investigation was started by the French police, but as it transpired that the shooting had taken place on the Dutch side of the island, the St. Maarten Police Force started its own investigation, known as "Zucchini".

In relation to the case, the police and the Prosecutor's Office are appealing to the public for more information. Anyone who has any information regarding the shooting or the circumstances that led to it is requested to inform the Detective Department of the St. Maarten Police Force.

For a successful prosecution it is very important that statements are given to the detectives in person. Members of the public have posted information about the shooting on various Internet sites and two names have been mentioned on the Internet in connection with the shooting: Alexis Roberts and Brent Berry.

The investigation has shown that Roberts and Berry are suspects in this case and the police are appealing to them to turn themselves in and report to the Detective Department for questioning.

The police also inform the general public that assisting a person sought by police as a suspect in any criminal case is an offence 

CONTRADICTING WITNESS ALLOWS GUYANESE MAN TO ESCAPE CHARGES IN THE RAPE OF A 12 YEAR GIRL IN ST MAARTEN

A 27-year-old man of Guyanese descent was acquitted of the rape & sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl. L.M. had been accused of "multiple immoral acts, including penetration of the child's body and kissing her on the mouth," said the verdict.

The child had claimed that she had had intercourse with the adult on 4 separate occasions. 

The witnessed claimed in her statement,that she had been present all four times the accused had intercourse with the girl, and further stated that a partner exchange had taken place, something that was contradicted by the girl, who also stated that the witness was not present on the other three occasions. The witness could not give a satisfactory explanation for the discrepancy between the statements.

The judge ruled that there were too many discrepancies between the statements of the victim and the witness for the intercourse to be proven.

With regard to the separate offence of sexual assault, where the accused was alleged to have kissed the child on her mouth, it was found to be proven that he had indeed kissed her on the mouth on her 12th birthday, as evidenced by both her parents, who were present.

However, as the accused had only been charged with offences taking place between December 2011 and September 2012, and the incident that the parents bore witness to took place five months before this period, the judge had no option, but to acquit the accused of this charge as well.

OFFICER JUAN STASIE SXM POLICE FINALLY BUSTED BY THE LANDS RECHERCHE IN CHILD ABUSE CASE

In St Maarten there is the official police, headed by Chief Peter de Witte, who usually is a pretty okay guy. In the St Maarten police department, there's also Internal Affairs which is headed by York. They investigate other police officers accused of misconduct. However if the case against the police officer is very egregious, then there's a good chance that they'll hand it over to the Lands Recherché. Independent Dutch Investigators, who reside in an unmarked building somewhere around the Pond. The Lands Recherché have the unpopular task of going after members in the St Maarten government and police department. Our government enacted laws in 2010 basically making them immune to any crime. Therefore the local police department cannot arrest a member of government, but the Lands Recherché sure can, just ask Patrick Illidge. The Lands Recherché it seems are all buitenlanders. Non locals, which make sense since there's nothing but conflicts and conflicts of interest, from the Prosecutors and lawyers in the Court System, to the government and police department, everybody's compromised. The Lands Recherché has to remain unbiased and objective, but good luck with that on an island 16 square miles large. The Lands Recherché are separate from the Marechauseuse, I should have asked them what the difference was when I spoke to them. Part of the reason the Lands Recherché is also taking over the case is because evidently Stasie being a pedophile is very old, stale news. Everybody in the police department seemed to know that he was a child molestor, but they were too busy worrying about having their own dirt exposed, or simply busy COVERING their dirt, but yeah....he's not the only one going down in the St Maarten Police department in this case. After all the Police department are supposed to be INVESTIGATORS AND DETECTIVES, why is it that their bribes, molestation, drug dealing, theft is pretty much public knowledge to everyone but the police department? It was a nice, quiet candle light vigil. The late Jean Jimmy Touze was greatly loved on the block. Polite, Kind, Courteous. It was a very tearful evening. A tragedy. A young, athletic basketball player dying on the court. The St Peters Block got together still in shock to put together a candlelight vigil and memorial.
